Another Amanda son from my first litter (Ch. Telltale Author X Ch. Springcasa's Miss Amanda CD), Snoopy entered the show ring the first time as a senior puppy and left that day with a BPIS (Best Puppy In Show), BB (Best of Breed) and group placement. Snoopy accumulated several impressive wins in the show ring, including multiple BISS (Best In Specialty Show). But his most important mark was made as a family companion to Marjorie Robson (Springhunt) and her two daughters.

No, you're not seeing double -- just Mandy and her daughter Abby -- winning a Brace Class at an English Springer Spaniel Specialty Show, stateside.
"Abby" is the litter sister of Toby and Snoopy, all Champions from that first litter. ![]() I am not there Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Ch. Nanjay's Contender - "Elmer Fudd" Breeder: Nanci J. Footitt Owner: Nanci J. Footitt ![]()
Great things DO come in plain brown wrappers!! Pictured above, winning a Group First, and approaching his seventh birthday, Elmer Fudd kept everything in life fun! Whether he was greeting people here at Nanjay; in the show ring strutting his stuff; or running around the house, singing, with his treasured 'squeaky piggy' in his mouth, he was a true ambassador for the breed.
Elmer Fudd started his show career as a junior puppy and earned several BPIG (Best Puppy In Group) wins along the way to becoming a Canadian Champion. Elmer Fudd was entered in a few specialties when he was a bit older and he did very well, winning several BB (Best of Breed) and even a BISS (Best In Specialty Show) from the Veteran's Class. For almost thirteen years Elmer was always by my side and taught me what love and loyalty are all about. |
